🚩BLUF: Bottom Line Up Front🚩
Chris Federer from Voltage Control led an activity called Pass A Question. Engagement in meetings can be a challenge sometimes. And sometimes teams aren’t asking enough questions. The intention was to share an activity to get participants more involved in discussions and asking more questions
🚩 RECAP 🚩
Participants were kept in the main room, given a topic, and had 1 min to write an open-ended question related to the topic.
The topic: Women’s Day
Chris then called on someone to pose their open-ended question to the group.
After that person asked the question, they picked another participant to share their thoughts on the question.
After that person shared their thoughts, they call on another person who hasn’t yet spoken to share their thoughts on the same question.
We kept going until Chris said, “Lat’s start a new question. I’m going to call on _____ to pose it.” And then we repeated the process.
🚩🚩Takeaways🚩🚩
According to the participants, the primary learning in the Pass A Question session was that it’s great for engagement, stimulating, insightful, and quick & deep.
